– dystopian and near-future narratives

For nonfiction, we look for:
– fresh, smart narrative nonfiction
– memoir with a clear voice and a strong narrative arc

We welcome submissions from authors of all backgrounds, and we are particularly interested in fiction and narrative nonfiction by Black and African American writers, especially work that centers Black experiences.

We only consider unpublished or not-yet-contracted work.
Due to the volume of submissions, we cannot guarantee a personalized reply to every query and we are unable to provide free editorial feedback on unsolicited material.

For US authors & editors

Trentin Agency offers a bridge between the US and the Italian/European markets.

For US authors, we can:
– offer honest, professional feedback from a European perspective;
– advise on whether and how your project can travel into the Italian and wider European markets;
– selectively represent US authors in the US and internationally when we believe we can genuinely place and support their work.

For US editors and publishers, we:
– scout and recommend Italian and European projects that may fit your list;
– represent selected US authors for the Italian and European markets;
– support cross-media opportunities (book-to-film/TV) through our talent and development network.

We keep our international list small on purpose, focusing on a limited number of US projects and services that are properly valued and resourced.

FOR ACTORS

οž₯

We mainly accept submissions from trained, professional actors of all ethnicities who are based in Europe, as well as from a very limited number of US actors with a clear connection to the European market (dual base, regular work in Europe, or a strong international focus).

We focus on speaking roles and long-term career development rather than extra work or generic background casting.

What to send

Please email your submission to: [info@trentinagency.com]

Your email should include:
– 2 recent professional headshots (close-up and half-body)
– 1 recent full-body shot
– an updated rΓ©sumΓ©/CV (in English), including training, credits and languages spoken
– links to your reel and/or self-tapes (Vimeo, YouTube, etc.)
– links to your professional social media profiles (Instagram, Spotlight, IMDb, etc.), if available

We only consider actors who are free to sign (or discuss) exclusive representation with us internationally.
Submissions for minors must be sent by a parent or legal guardian..

FOR SCREENWRITERS

οž₯

We currently accept a limited number of unsolicited submissions from screenwriters based in the United States or Europe, working in English.

We are interested in:
– original feature film scripts
– limited series and returning TV series
– high-concept, character-driven stories with strong visual potential

We are particularly drawn to projects that:
– have a clear concept and logline
– show a strong sense of structure and character
– can work in European markets and have clear potential to travel internationally, including the US market

What to send

Please email your submission to: [info@trentinagency.com]

Your email should include:
– a short bio (including any produced work, options or awards)
– a clear logline (one or two sentences)
– a one-page synopsis of the project
– for series: a short series overview plus 1–2 paragraphs on the main characters
– the full script or at least the first 20–30 pages

We do not sign NDAs for unsolicited submissions and we cannot offer free development work.
We only take on projects that we believe we can actively develop and position with producers and partners in Italy, across Europe and in the United States, building a coherent strategy across these markets.
